Better?

Bought Kraftwerk tickets yesterday (they're actually playing HERE in September!). Administered Horace's "iv bag" for the first time yesterday. Not actually an iv 'cuz it doesn't go in any blood vessels, just underneath his skin. But it looks like an iv bag and it's almost the same principle. He seems to be doing much better. Thursday night I couldn't sleep for a while so I got up and lay on the floor next to him (in his box) petting him and giving him attention. After a while he felt like eating a little bit. Then I pet him a bunch more and he ate a little again. And he seems to be eating more and more. He may be eating an almost normal amount by now. So that makes me feel good. Last night and this morning he's climbed on top of me in bed. Mary Beth and I went to a house show last night for Califone (the one dude solo). It was good. I saw them as a band back at All Tomorrow's Parties in LA 2002, but I wasn't into it (maybe not disliked, but at least indifferent). But I liked this now. He played acoustic guitar and I liked the bits where he played through a looping pedal that got manipulated into fun noise. But the songy parts were good too. The show was at some house a little out east, an aging indie married couple (overheard conversation, one of their kids or their only kid was named after someone in Sonic Youth?) and the guy is a photographer for the Commercial Appeal. A slightly "classier"/well-to-do environment than I'm typically in.
