Okay! Busy damn week! Let's catch up on this shit. On Wednesday Mary Beth and I went to an air sex contest at the Hi-Tone. Hadn't heard of that phenomenon before, but it's the humping version of air guitar. The guy who won was also one of a few stand up comedians that opened the show. His act was pretty funny. And his air sex act was pretty funny. His song choice was "The Sound of Silence," nice touch. Thursday was the debate watch party, again at Cafe Ole. It was good. There were some really good moments in the debate. Hilary's response to super pac campaign donations looked pretty bad. Her defense of that immigration bill saying it was written by Ted Kennedy was pretty head-scratching. I liked that Sanders called her out on her criticisms of him criticizing Obama in an attempt to portray herself as an extension of Obama. Clinton did have a few moments where she said what she had to say very well and a very few moments where what she said made her look good against Sanders, but with her history it's hard to take much of what she says beyond words. All in all it was a good debate. Pretty packed.

Seems like we're starting to get the hang of this Fuse stuff at work. I got my workspace error-free in eclipse! It's the little victories. Done stuff enough that I'm starting to understand how the process works too. Okay, Friday night we went to the Rec Room for Matt's birthday. There was another round of The Simpsons arcade game, but the Genie and Heather got worn out earlier this time. Yesterday was the grand opening of the official Bernie Sanders Memphis campaign office. I got there before and did what I could to help out getting things set up. It was pretty cool. There were a ton of people there. They had suvs rented and were taking people to the early voting polls. I hear 80 people were taken to the polls. Awesome. Crockett Hall played (just the one guy as a solo acoustic set, he's playing Bands for Bernie at the end of the week with his whole band) and it turns out he's someone I work with. I mean, our teams don't really ever cross paths, but he works just around the corner. Pretty cool. I couldn't stay super long because we had to go to Housecon. I didn't win any games this time. I got to play: Splendor, Mysterium, Space Lawyer (the card game that Mattie is making, it was its first time ever played, it's like poker with some other elements), Jaipur, and FunEmployed. It was a good time. We also left early 'cuz before it was shortened to one day, we had gotten tickets to the Cat Video Festival. So we went to that. I thought it was pretty good this year. Today The Family Ghost practiced. Went pretty well. We ran through the set a few times. Ryan brought up that Foxglove is gonna cover Burning down the House (ooh, Berning down the House? that only just now occurred to me) and he asked Jacques and me to play on it. So I immediately got a Bernie Worrell sound on the Moog and started spinning the hell out of that pitch wheel. Wait...another Bernie! Damn! After that I went to the Memphis for Bernie meeting. Getting things ready. Still got a lot of work to do, but it's almost here! BANDS FOR BERNIE!!! Can't wait for Saturday (actually, I can wait as I said that I've still got a lot of work to do). NOW! To get with my valentine!
