Worker

Didn't end up returning for the last day of Housecon. Mary Beth wasn't feeling well and I tried to help her feel better. Did end up going to my parents' later in the evening. The boys weren't there at first but my sister brought them after a while. Anthony went through his whole spectrum of moods. He'd been sleeping in the car so he was tired and withdrawn at first. Then after a bit (maybe some food) he perked up and suddenly went into full throttle. He was just smiling, punching me, and running around from room to room screaming with glee. Note to self: Anthony is at optimal crotch-punching height right now; be careful! Then later I was showing Jason some videogame stuff on my phone and Anthony was even more intrigued and sat right next to me and just started talking a whole bunch. I couldn't make out everything (or most of it), but I could make out some of it. He was being super sweet and we had a little chat. Also, always so good to see Lacey. When I finally tried to go home my sister was blocking me in. Okay, so she's just gotta move the car, fine. But then she couldn't find her keys. Searching and searching. Ten minutes of waiting around outside getting bit my mosquitoes turns into almost thirty minutes. Finally my dad moved his car up and I was able to maneuver around my sister's car (partially on the grass). But she still didn't find the keys (got a text from my dad over an hour after the search began to say she'd found 'em). Mary Beth and I stayed up last night watching The Simpsons. We'd put in a disc for a certain episode and then find the rest of the episodes on the same disc were incredible classics. Good stuff in that season 8. Back to work today. Kinda slow. Also pretty damn tired. In the shower this morning, I was just flooded with great ideas for the board game I'd like to make. I mean, most of the ideas came to me then. Before that it'd been nothing more than just the vaguest notions. But all this shit came to me and blew me away. Partially inspiried by playing Matt's. I mean, I don't think they'll be very much alike, but the idea of doing it, ya know. Actually, a bit of the theme comes from Chulip... This cd I'm currently listening to was a bit of a disappointment. The description I'd read made it out to be noise but it's metal (and not really that noisy). Ah well, the others I got at the same time were great.
