Class class

Continuing with the class/week. Mostly been light so far. Mary Beth and I watched If.... on Sunday. I also finally saw the BoJack christmas special. Okay, Monday was a little rough learning Hibernate and hql. Not hard in and of itself, probably, but all the setup is tedious. Though I think we'll eventually be doing other stuff that'll make it not so horrible. Yesterday was pretty easy with html and css and javascript/jquery. Today we started using jsp to set up web servers. So that's potentially pretty interesting. I'd been trying to optimize my route home through horrible traffic and tried out my shortcut route on Monday. Though I got lost navigating from the area my work's in to Shady Grove (the one non-offramp bridge over the interestate between Poplar and Walnut Grove). I figured it out, but lost some time. Will try it out, but I've gotten off early the past two days and was able to go the normal way home. The biggest problem with my "shortcut" is the cluster of three-way stops all one after the other on Shady Grove. Overall will probably be better than facing the rush hour crap even just on Walnut Grove, but it's a little annoying. Yesterday Mary Beth and I tried a game we hadn't played yet: Splendor. It was really good (even though she got mad at me when I won). The design is pretty simple and elegant. What else is there to share? I don't know, that's all I can think of.
