Short in a Way

The end of the week devolved into a bit of relaxingness. Wednesday was the last day of any teaching. Yesterday was the ASVAB test (standardized test given by the military). Hardly any kids showed up. We took the test in homeroom. I had nine kids show up. It's a long test. All the way up to lunch. Throughout all that time I got to get my physical attendance book filled out and caught up retroactively (we don't get 'em til after the drop/add after Labor Day). I only had one class after that so I gave 'em a make up day. After school were parent conferences. There wasn't enough time between to go home so I stayed and had an early dinner from Jack Pirtle's. I was actually pretty busy with the parents. I had 13 total in the three hours. At two points I had breaks and mostly they came back to back. Mostly positive. Today was an in service day, so I didn't have to wake up quite as early and I got to leave early. So now. Here we are on a Friday. Couldn't go to the gym yesterday for the reasons stated above. Will do that soon, I guess.
