Back to work today. First day of in-service with all the faculty there. Spent a good while in the library doing meeting stuff. Going over numbers, of course. Numbers that aren't great. Math department took a bit of a beating. It was confirmed that I still have the same classroom, so yay for that. After I got my key I met some coworkers at El Toro Loco for a late lunch. Then I took Mary Beth to pick up her car. In the mail: The Review of Contemporary Fiction Spring 2012 | Vol. XXXII: Robert Coover Festshrift (and I'm still two issues behind!). Going back to the drawing board for the drums on that song I've been working on. Recorded a cymbal track. No need to rush it now. Rushing it's probably what got me in this mess in the first place. I'll put down a drum at a time when I get a chance. I'm sure it'll start sounding much better.
