toe

yesterday, after some sitting around, Mary Beth and i went out to thrift town killing some time...i got a couple books: A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess (i've had it but the original american version missing the last chapter...which i did read way back in high school...so the trip was worth it just for that...), Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson (of course i read this when i was a kid...i mostly picked it up to pad out the few dollars i was putting on my credit card...), and Abel Sanchez and Other Stories by Miguel de Unamuno...later Jason came over with some birthday presents! i got Alphaville dvd...and then the three of us went to the $2.50 theater to see Midnight Meat Train which was very funny...oh yeah, before that we had some Jerry's Snowcones...anyway, that was the day...the swelling in my toe seems to be disappearing a lot, however i think i have an ingrown toenail...it still sucks...
