got tickets for Radiohead in St. Louis yesterday morning...i kind of screwed up though...i originally knew of the tickets going on sale the 14th so i got up early that morning but then when i went to buy 'em it was then saying the 16th...so la-de-da they must have changed the date overnight so i waited 'til saturday...but it turns out there was a pre-sale on the 14th, and i went to the wrong place so i completely screwed up and missed out on that...so anyway, i go to buy 'em the instant they go on normal sale or whatever...there are two prices $30 and $55 but ticketmaster doesn't SAY what these prices entail...so i click on $30 first and see it's only offering lawn so i go back and click $55 and in the time it takes to go back (like 15 or 20 seconds) all those are sold out...so we just fuckin' lawn seats...oh well...at least we're got something...i guess, it still annoys me...last night was Jacques's birthday shindig...we had dinner at sekisui and then bowling at imperial...i sucked...i really can't wait for my glasses...if i do stuff it bothers my eyes...the pop-a-shot machine was turned off...that was sad...oh, i forgot my other anecdote for the day! ok i'm in bed yesterday morning and i notice Horace has a worm in his butt...eww gross and all that...so i call the vet and they have some pills for me to pick up...well, then i have to get him to take them...Horace is generally an extremely docile animal...but getting him to swallow those pills was the hardest thing ever...he's thrashing about, whipping his tongue around like a baseball bat, spewing foam like a madman...i got scratched up purty good...of course if i made the miracle of getting it in his mouth, it ends up coming back out...eventually through perseverence and Mary Beth's assistance them pills got swallowed...hopefully they weren't too dissolved by that point to do any good...that's the end...
