When you're used to the Raw Power of Iggy and the Stooges everything else sounds kind of precious...

Ryan came over friday evening and we played some settlers of catan cities and nights...Mary Beth beat our asses (i mentioned it, are you happy now?) then yesterday we went to burke's and i got a few books: The Recognitions by William Gaddis, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (a book i read in high school though i barely remember anything about it...), Dhalgren by Samuel R. Delany, and Dôra, Doralina by Rachel de Queiroz...later in the evening we met Josh, Molly, Matt, and Emily at the theater to see Juno...it was okay...i was set to hate it and the first 15 minutes or so were absolutely terrible...but then it surprised me with some moments and aspects that weren't so bad (although there was still some really embarassing stuff throughout...especially any time music was mentioned...and speaking of music the soundtrack was one of the most obnoxious things ever...) all in all mediocre but not as bad as i expected...then we all hung out at Josh and Molly's for a while and Dustin and David and Phoebe and Gary and Rachel came over and there was hanging out and such...i guess that's about it...
