eye and eye

on sunday Ryan and two of his friends came over and we messed around with some musical-like stuff...one of 'em has a theremin and he brought it over and that was fun...he also gave me a spare clarinet reed so now i can like play my clarinet! top notch...my mii that i made for the new year's baby contest made it to the 9th level! that's my best yet...that's the second highest level! i have no idea what constitutes a level, but i was pretty proud of my achievement nonetheless...i've been working loads of overtime this week...til midnight the past three days, though yesterday and the day before was with an hour gap thrown in the middle of it...both times i had some dinner with Mary Beth...yesterday we went to La Playita and it was all pretty sweet except i ended up swallowing a fishbone and while i didn't choke, i could feel it making its very very slow, uncomfortable descent down my esophagus, of course paranoid that i might start choking any instant...but i didn't...so hooray for that...today at work i finished reading One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez...i had some mail:

lately i've been getting pretty worried about my eyesight...i've always had excellent vision but lately things are blurry...i can't focus on anything far away...i think it's strain from work...like today, it was worse at the end of the shift and my eyes feel like, i dunno, tired muscles, like they lifted something...but even when i'm not working, they just don't go back to normal anymore...or haven't for a while, so i'm naturally starting to get worried...i don't really know what else to say about that, but anyway...
