tax me...

i had gotten all excited about this tax free holiday weekend until i realized it's just for clothes and school supplies (BORING!) but i had a shopping expedition in mind and went through with it anyway...well, to one store anyway...Mary Beth and i went to Downtown Books and i got a few: Literal Madness 3 Novels: Kathy Goes to Haiti, My Death My Life by Pier Paolo Pasolini, Florida by Kathy Acker, The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio, Yellow Street by Veza Canetti, The Island of the Day Before by Umberto Eco, and Sula by Toni Morrison...i shouldn't be buying books even though this wasn't that much 'cuz i've been getting too many lately but oh well...then we went out to the target that's out in cordova but first we ate at Chang's Bubble Tea! it was fuckin' awesome! then to target and i used up the rest of my gift card and got Extras: the Complete Second Season...i was going to get a classic controller for the wii, but then it's not wireless itself, but you plug it into the wiimote, which i thought maybe it'd be worth it for being wireless but you still got the wire and i've got a bunch of gamecube controllers i could just use instead, so i passed it up for dvds i want anyway...um...the end!
