not numb

went to the doctor after two hours of work...didn't get too much information other than a mild worry and a prescription for an antibiotic as well as an over-the-counter recommendation (Ulcer Ease, which nowhere has...) but then almost right after i came home the association struck me...i was smearing on this Oral Anesthetic Paste when i realized that right about the time i started taking this stuff was when my mouth just fucking exploded...i've never really had a history of allergies, but i think i may have had a reaction to this stuff...it sure works, i've been slathering my mouth with it nonstop...i tried calling my doctor back to get his thoughts on this, but of course doctors are impossible to fucking get on a phone...also, he said this was the worst case of mouth ulcers he'd ever seen...a nice accolade there...so i went back to work...made my way through that...but you know, now that i'm quitting the anesthetic, after that first wave of a lot of pain, now that i'm getting used to it, it seems a lot better...we'll see what i say in the morning right when i wake up (which has consistently been the worst...) but i'm gonna try not taking any of this medicine (except for ibuprofin...) and go (mostly) cold turkey...(well, not counting my prescription...) 'cuz i'd been taking some cold stuff too for my sore throat but none of that stuff...i'll see if i can avoid this Ulcer Ease, which walgreens had to spcial order...while looking for that, Mary Beth accompanied me out to the super target and no, they didn't have it, of course, but they did have Wii nunchucks! and i got two so now i have a full set of controllers for four people even though i don't have all those people to play with me...my Wii is complete anyhow...anyway, tomorrow may be a long day...but i'm ready to conquer...bring it on, let's roll...some more macho terminology that sounds catchy and will help me put up with pain...ride the burn, feel the max, touch the extreme...
