yesterday continued in the tradition of last week with some lunch buffet at the ethiopian place...this time with Josh, Molly, and Dustin...after that we went to check back up on getting a show at the buccaneer but didn't really accomplish anything...that fedex slip wasn't for my entertainment center as i'd expected but for my best buy gift certificate...so i made a big journey...first i went to a pawn shop and sold my air conditioner and got a little money...then i went to best buy where i got for the DS:

and while i was out that way i went by my parents' house...the dogs were super excited to see me...i had my camera with me so i got some batteries and took a bunch of pictures of my dogs...then i was talking about it to my mom mentioned in passing needing a memory card and my mom said she had gotten one for her camera some time ago that was the wrong kind and hadn't taken it back yet and lo and behold it was the right kind for mine so she gave it to me so i took a totally enormous bunches of pictures...(the camera on its own holds like maybe 20 something pictures...i still don't know how much the card holds...well over a hundred i haven't filled it up yet...) the one thing i know about my camera for sure is that it completely DEVOURS batteries! it's insane, they're dying after about maybe an hour of picture-taking...oh, another thing i know is that it's slow with saving the pictures but the battery life is the biggest lame thing...oh well...

then last night was Josh and Molly's bachelor/bachelorette party...there was a bunch of sushi to be eaten...then the main event was a scavenger hunt...but the theme was everything had to be gotten from somewhere that serves alcohol and Josh and Molly had to have a drink everywhere we went...we were divided into teams of the dudes and the chicks...it was a bit fun...nice because there was no staying in once place...going somewhere and then leaving...i like that...one of the things on the list was a picture of a King Diamond cover band...in front of the buccaneer the guys who were taking the cover for the benefit show that was going on mentioned that the girls had been by earlier and used them as a King Diamond cover band...then we got a picture taken holding a sign saying "this is not really a King Diamond cover band" but the two other best parts of the night happened outside there...oh yeah, i forgot to mention the couple had to wear stupid hats the whole night for a bunch of points...Molly's was a sombrero but we caught her with it off at walgreens right at the beginning and Josh kept his on the whole night, his was some cheap plastic feathered fake indian hat...so there was some comment about the from the guys at the buccaneer and Josh said how they were making him wear it, etc...and one of the guys said to someone else in our group whose name i don't know "and they're made you dress like Corey Feldman?" which was funny 'cuz he was dressed exactly like Corey Feldman...it was really funny if you were there...as setup for the next anecdoe i'll say one of the things was to have a drink with a drag queen...so getting back to our car a woman comes up begging for money and Dustin asks "are you a drag queen?" that was damn funny too...of course us dudes won 'cuz we're cool...and after that was all over the night ended with a playdough fight...wild stuff...yeah...of course, i was the designated driver 'cuz i don't drink and stuff...but uh yeah...i don't have anything else to say...
