a change of scene

i overslept this morning and was late for work...i woke up at 8:30, when i was supposed to be there...at least it was still the normal training thing so it didn't matter too much...we took our little call test...i passed that, yea, so i start "on the job" training tomorrow...which means i'll be out on the floor taking calls almost like normal except i'll be with a "guru" who will be sitting with me...we also get the schedule of our guru and i don't have to come in 'til 9:30...woohoo! an extra hour of sleep...(though not like the extra hour i got today...) it does, however, mark the end of the extended lunches and the beginning of the facist attendance policies...oh well...it's inevitable and all...after work i was supposed to meet with Keith and he was gonna go car looking-at with me...but he wasn't answering his phone...i decided to bide some time at Disco Go Round where i got Aphex Twin: Drukqs for pretty cheap...i ended up going back home 'cuz i didn't get in touch with him...and after watching my stories, he called me back and then we went looking at cars...after that we ate at the Deli, were met by Leah, but then it was late so i went home...soon sleep followed by waking up on time...yea...

and for some fucking reason, just as i was getting ready to send this, my fucking server decided it doesn't want to fucking be connected...so uh, hopefully i'll be able to post this fucking shit at some point...NOTE: this SHOULD have posted LAST night...

it's almost comical how disorganized the management of my company is...i was scheduled to be ther eat 9:30 today...other people in my training class got different, some earlier, schedules...as early as 7...we were told to go to the training room and when our shift started a supervisor would get us and show us where we needed to be...nobody came until 9:30 (which was when i was supposed to be there anyway) but some people had to sit there waiting, doing nothing, for two and a half hours until someone came to get them...and the person who was supposed to be my guru wasn't there or something so they sat me with someone else who had a different schedule...they were 7:30-4...and when they left at 4 i was moved to someone else for the last 2 hours of my shift...i did get two 30 min lunches...it didn't really bother me...it's just inane that they're such a mess when they expect near-perfect punctuality from us...it's insane how strict they are...compared to how ineffecient the supervisors are and how they can dick us around with time so often...and yesterday Adam was fired for being 5 seconds late...

aaaaanyway...after work i grabbed Keith and he accompanied me for some more car looking-at...i test drove a Toyota Prius and a Honda Civic...i'm still all trying to decide what i want...hopefully i'll reach a damned decision soon...
