gaining

caught back up on sleep yesterday...closed again...it was pretty slow...i only cleared a hundred 'cuz Tony was bored and stopped driving for a while so for a good bit i was pretty much doing all the runs...not that there were very many...as i was leaving for my last run, David pulled up w/ the message "call me when you get off work"...so i did...we went over to Justin's where we kicked it for a little bit...talking about globes and the real world abroad...we ate at IHOP...i made myself sick by eating too much...to David's where we played PS2...i didn't even set off for home 'til after 7am...

therefore i lost some of that sleep i had gained...there was a bit of a hassle w/ my new phone...i have a new phone number now, i'll prob'ly post it a little later in a friends-only post for those that don't have it yet or whatever...work kind've sucked today...i just worked a rush...there were 5 other drivers scheduled for tonight...for the first few hours only 2 were there...one was like 2 hrs late...the other 2 had valid excuses (one should never have even been scheduled in the first place...) but it was annoying 'cuz i was expecting to have gotten off early w/ all those other drivers...but no such luck...and i was tired and pissed off...the band was supposed to practice but Brad never called me back after all those message i've left him the past few days anyway...after work i just went over to Jacques/Amber's...Paul and Shawna were there as well and the crew was playing a game of Trivial Pursuit...i joined in as well after i got some food...Amber went to bed and the rest of us watched Visitor Q...though Paul and Shawna left in the middle (their loss, great fucking movie...) now i'm home again...blah...

when i first arrived at Jacques', i saw part of this old kung fu movie from the late 70s: The Flying Guillotine...the cool thing was that there was some Neu! in the soundtrack...i fucking love Neu!...
