Before Your Time Is Up

i met Paul, Shawna, and Rachelle at Neil's for $5 steak night...i got myself a $5 steak and a $2.25 coke (which was horribly watered down)...dear fucking god do i hate Neil's! David, who i had not seen in like forever turned up as well...that was rad...then we (minus David) went to Paul's...then i talked to Keith and met him at his apartment...he wanted to get a beer at the Saucer for pint night but it was so fucking crowded...dear fucking god was it crowded...packt like sardines in a crushd tin box...so we decided to go elsewhere...we ended up driving out to Brad's but weren't there long before i got a call from Kerry...we met her and her friend from Atlanta (i believe) Amber at Huey's downtown...once again, the bartender had an awesome cd selection in the rotation...though Kerry would not allow Keith and i to sing along...(bitch...i hope she dies for that...) Adam also showed up...we sat around for a while hanging out then we all went home...the end...

everyone should check out this guy that i'm listening to now...it was the guy i saw in Raleigh...here's a website http://nikkishapiro.tripod.com i haven't been there myself, but it's on the back of the cd sleeve...though it says it's a "crappy, out-dated web site"...this cd's really really good though...piano w/ Thom Yorke-ish vocals...and sometimes other instruments...mostly just drums i think...yea...that's all...i like the lyrics a lot too...and it's mostly wonderfully bitter and depressing...always a plus...

boring stuff

i had trouble falling asleep last night...i just lay in bed awake for a couple of hours...so when my alarm went off (at a relatively early hour for me) i went right back to bed like a moron...or a really tired person...i had planned on getting up to school to get a student loan as well as some other stuff i need to do...this was a little after noon...when i finally did wake up (about a quarter to 4), i was still tired but i went up to school and got to the financial aid office and the line was just fucking insanely long...so i decided i'll wait 'til tomorrow...my new pair of shoes arrived in the mail today...high top Converse All-Stars, of course...light blue...thrilling...
