Neighborhood

After work in the afternoon, Mary Beth and I went on a walk around the neighborhood. One eventful thing is that we were walking down one of the side streets and Charlie the cat with no sense of danger starts trying to cross towards us right when a car's starting to come. Mary Beth had to gesture for the car to stop and they drove slowly past. And Charlie as usual just seemed completely oblivious to the car. Then another eventful thing is we walked past a house and Russ called out to us from the porch. So we talked to him for a little while, didn't know that we were neighbors. Then his partner came home and instead of shouting from the sidewalk across the lawn we all gathered on the porch and talked for a little while. And that about does it.
