ateolf | Communication Breakdown

In the middle of the day my phone just suddenly stopped working. Like it was working and then I picked it up a few minutes later and it wouldn't turn on at all. Okay! I figured I'd take it apart again as I've been able to get things reconnected with it before, but I couldn't find my tiny screwdriver. After work I went out to Lowe's and picked up another tiny screwdriver kit. I was able to take it apart, but it didn't help any, looks like the phone's just dead. Maybe it's the battery again, but since the last time I replaced it, it has been a bit in pieces and I guess it's time for a new phone anyway so I need to take care of that very soon, especially given that we have a trip soon! What timing! While messing with it, twice while plugged in I started to get it to boot up but then it didn't finish and went off again (the usb connector hasn't been terribly stable for a long time and I usually have to jiggle it a bit when plugging it in to charge and such...which is another indicator it might be just the battery, but also another mark for time for a new phone...blah...). At night Mary Beth and I ate nachos and watched Ball of Fire.

Oh, thing I forgot to mention the other day. A good number of weeks ago, the battery in the Kia had died (well, you know, it wouldn't start). It took me a while to get to it, but on Saturday I finally gave jumping it a shot. I was able to jump it (though it took a good bit of effort for it to turn, so it might need a new battery too, we'll see if it starts the next time I try it). Anyway, since I got it started I gave it a nice good drive out on the interstate. And that's about it.
