ateolfIn the afternoon, Mary Beth and I went to Paradiso to see a MetOp performance of The Magic Flute (an older one, from 2006, I think). It was a nice production though it was a translated version and it felt a little weird hearing the singing in English. I'd won another early reviewer book thing and it came in the mail: The Age of Calamities by Senaa Ahmad. Then after a while we went back out to the Hi Tone for a burlesque show. Kevin hosts a burlesque event under the moniker Papa Chubb and was having his "Holiday Ham" show. So we went up to that and had a good time.
