In the evening, Mary Beth and I went downtown to the Cossitt Library for their first Silent Book Club thing. It's just a thing where you go and just read your own book. Then there are opportunities for mingling and whatever before and after. Aside from us and the librarian, four other people came out for it. Nobody did any mingling in the beforehand, but people got together and talked afterwards (after a little delay). We talked to the librarian a good bit (well, Mary Beth did most of the talking). It was fun and a nice environment to read in and do something I normally always do in the same place at home more or less, but do it in a different setting. Then while we were downtown we walked over to Catherine & Mary's and had a nice little meal (it was ostensibly just for drinks but then we couldn't resist also order a little food too). So it was a nice night out.
