Out of the Frying Pan...

Welp, the Earth did its thing and we're back to this orbital position! 2024, though quite a few good things happened, had a lot about it that was horrible...in personal and wider realms. And a lot of the worst about the wider realms was bad in how it's setting up 2025 to start being awful. But whatever, I guess keep looking for that good. After work I went over to Nate and April and Patti's to drop off the keys now that cat-sitting is done. It did afford me another chance to see Mango and Sara (I realize that in all my cat-sitting posts I'd been spelling her name wrong with an 'h' at the end, so here I am correcting my terrible blunder, Sara!). They brought us back a turrón from Spain so looking forward to its tastiness. At night, Mary Beth did a little New Year's thing of thinking up some good things and bad things that happened during the year and writing them down on pieces of paper and doing stuff to destroy the bad things (we cut them up and then "drowned" them...). We also did some stuff with the good things, Mary Beth made origami and I drew on mine with colored pencils. We stayed up and rang in the new year and all that. Well, now here we are. I guess let's get to it or whatever!
