I got a few cds in the mail: Kaori Suzuki: Music for Modified Melodica, Masayuki Imanishi: Worn Tape, Freiband: True Type, and Haarvöl: Indite. Also, I finished my incessant "aah" vocal recordings, giving a few throughout the day. I was aiming for at least thirty minutes of tape-time and I ended up with a bit over thirty-five so it was a successful eyeball of the cassette's tape length! Then in the evening I started preparing everything for the show. I bounced the tape onto all of the four-track's four tracks. I started in different places, of course to make sure that the contents would always be different. And two tracks I did normal and going forward and two tracks I did going backwards. I also started patching the modular and pretty much have a patch ready, though I've yet to start playing it and hear the sounds (for some further tweaking). The modular will be relatively more simple than I often do, because the tapes are so thick and will be doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Okay, there you go!
