We went to a cheese tasting "class" kind of thing up at Greys. We ate a bunch of very good cheeses that were paired with ciders. And the cheesemonger talked about everything and all that. It was fun and good. Has some very very good ones. One that I forget what it was but it was made in sea caves and was very salty in a good way. One very very good bleu cheese (from sheep's milk, I think). Also had a really stinky cheese. I mean, the rind smelled funky if you went right up to it. Most people were disliking this one. I thought the flavors as I was eating it were very good and complex and interesting and delicious. But then the aftertaste did get to me. That lingering taste afterwards (especially when combined with the cider for some reason) was pretty nasty. I did like the experience though. After it was over we walked over to Gibson's to finish the night with some doughnuts. We took them home and ate them on the back deck with Peanut who came and greeted us and was very friendly.
