Was worried about my mom yesterday. She apparently had stroke-like symptoms and was unresponsive but it wasn't a stroke? After she was taken to the er she recovered and the symptoms were reversed and she was sent home. So I guess that's good. They did a brain scan to find the cause but I don't know if they have the results yet. Other than that, Mary Beth and I watched Volver last night to complete our small Almodóvar marathon. That's about it for now.

My mom had one on Saturday night. "ministroke"/TIA (she called it a "brain bleed")
She had one a few years ago. She recovered quickly with help of a friend while writing, after a half hour or so she was better. Then I came up the next day and had no clue til she told me, nothing seemed off.

Hopefully nothing major for your mom! Still waiting on word from my mom's doc. Growing old sucks.
