Soda Fridge Talk

Had a nice ol' Friday. Mary Beth and I watched a bit of Rocko's Modern Life at night. I don't think I ever mentioned that I think I finally got a lockdown on my soda fridge. So I do keep the temperature knob a little bit above the middle and stack only two deep (instead of three) so there aren't drinks right up against the cooling plate at the back (touching right up against the cold-making was what froze the can that time). The only slight problem in that is that where the fridge is against the wall right there the floor slopes (and while there are feet to stabilize it, they're only in the front as I'm sure all its weight is in the back, so I can't push the back up to make up for the sloping floor) and the fridge tilts backwards a little bit so that eventually, cans not touching the back wall gradually start to slide that way. So I looked for a barrier to keep the cans from touching the back and Mary Beth had helped me out with some bits of egg carton. So far it seems to be working pretty well. Also, since I try to only drink sodas during the weekend (mostly, exceptions can always be made but I try to minimize that), I can turn the temperature knob down during the week and turn it back up before the weekend and be even more energy efficient. How about that?
