Grocery Whine

I got some cds in the mail yesterday: The Red Crayola: The Parable of Arable Land, Dub Taylor: Lumière, and Seefeel: s/t. Mary Beth and I did our Kroger grocery run just a little bit early. It was weird. We noticed they had cashiers at checkout when we arrived but by the time we were coming up to checkout, they were JUST closing. We did the checkout with the conveyor belt but while we were checking out they closed those off behind us too! So if we'd gotten there just a little later at our normal time we wouldn't have even been able to that! And as shitty as the self-checkout with the conveyor belt is, it's kind of usable in a shitty way versus the small little self-checkout stations that don't have a conveyor belt and are really just impossible if you have a large grocery haul. So that's all kinda fucked up and not even sure what to make of that information! Kroger's just really really shitty. I was pretty tired yesterday and ended up passing out a little bit early.
