So just the other day, I heard of the existence of Pineapple Pepsi. It was apparently a limited edition thing a few years ago or so, but now it's been brought back, I guess also as a limited edition summer thing, exclusively to Little Caesar's for some reason so I figured I had to try it. And I placed an order that did not include food but just a few cans of Pineapple Pepsi and I went and picked it up. I put up a review on the fb so I'll just copy what I wrote there over here. That's the most economical way, I think!

Pineapple Pepsi! I just discovered that this thing currently exists only at Little Caesar's, weirdly enough (but don't worry, I only ordered the soda, I didn't eat any food, I'm safe!). The first sip, I found the pineapple flavor to be very strong and combined with the metallic soda/can taste, I thought it was going to be a bit overpowering and fake tasting (though it does use real juice). But after that, the flavor settled and became quite smooth and very enjoyable (though still pretty strongly sweet and bright, but that's pineapple's thing anyway). I now say that I like it quite a bit and I would enjoy drinking it now and then (though I don't know how much longer I'll have to do it, and it does feel a little weird placing an order with Little Caesar's just to go and pick up some soda cans). It's not as sublimely perfect as the Mango Pepsi that I could drink like water if I had no self control (and is a little more easily available), but it is really good and I like having the variety, while I have it. I could see this going quite well with something heavy and greasy like pizza (though not, of course, Little Caesar's...sorry to keep knocking them when they're doing a fine of service of making this thing available at least in some way...but still, I mean, I guess I don't feel I'm saying anything outside of common knowledge when I allude to the poor quality of their pizza...so, thank you very much, Little Caesar's, for resurrecting the Pineapple Pepsi as I completely missed it when it was a limited edition thing however long ago).

Then right after I posted it, a reply from The Onion popped right up, the one that's "Friend Who Doesn’t Drink Announces Plans To Buy Weirdest Fucking Soda Imaginable" so I felt very stalked. Then Mary Beth and I went out and picked up some more sushi from The Fresh Market and ate that and stuff. And that was our nice evening!
