Smokin'n'Drivin'

Yesterday at work was a little goofy as there was an issue with the authentication system and we were unable to log into many things we'd need to log into. Not sure if it's even been fixed yet but I guess I'm about to find out. In the afternoon I met Mary Beth up at the park for a little bit and we walked around the pond looking at little turtle heads doing a whack-a-mole thing. Then while we were driving we ended up behind this pickup truck that had a smoker going in its bed, smoking some meat while it was driving, sending out all the smoke and smells and then Mary Beth (combined with a random smell that reminded her of mac'n'cheese earlier, but probably wasn't and we won't even think about that any further) really got a craving for barbecue and then we just ended up going out to the Commissary and eating some damn barbecue! A random little tidbit: late at night a friend on fb made a post about just hearing this Lou Reed song "Stupid Man" and and kinda being like, what the hell is this song? And I'm all like, hm I'm not familiar with this one or this album really so let me see what the hell is with this song! Then I'm like, huh, I kinda like this, he's really leaning into the Street Hassle vocal stylings. So I'm like, have I been wrong in avoiding The Bells all these years? Then I listen to bits of the rest of the album and holy hell, I have been wrong! Why have I completely skipped this one over? I feel pretty dumb about it because it's Lou Reed! I guess he has so many solo albums that are not good that I automatically lumped it in...but damn! Oh yeah! And while in the forest in the park earlier, Mary Beth had grabbed some paw paws and we were able to eat them last night so it was very special and delicious!
