I got a letter from Finland yesterday! From Chelsea and Mykel (Post doom romance)! That was very cool and makes me feel very cool and special. After work Mary Beth read to me "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson (I'd somehow managed to make it to this point without having read it!, though of course, not without being exposed to its general premise...but still it was very very good). Then a little later she was going to finish reading to me Sex by Design by Betty Dodson but we found out we'd already finished! Yes, okay, there's a slightly more convoluted than worth telling story there, but since it otherwise seems confusing... When she started reading the book to me she skipped the first few chapters and then when she finished went back to the beginning to read the ones she'd skipped. So after reading (I think last Sunday?) and stopping, we thought there was a little more to go but when we picked back up today realized it was the chapter she'd initially started on. Okay! Then instead she finished reading to me Liberating Masturbation by Betty Dodson. Okay, I think that's it for now.
