Yesterday after work I went up to kinkos and made some mini-flyers to have on hand at the show that's tomorrow (spread the word about the upcoming shows...including the festival!). Then at night I ran through my part of the movie one last time and then took on the arduous task of tearing all my gear down in advance of today's practice. I got to dust off all the ol' cases for the stuff that has cases. Then I did a test load into the car to see if all this shit can actually even fit! I did just BARELY manage to get everything in. But then some things felt stacked a little precariously and the rear window was even partially obstructed. I drove around the block and decided I really would feel more comfortable putting a few things in someone else's car so I let Jacques know and he agreed to be my backup car. I should probably take it as a sign that I should lighten my load a little. Ah well. Maybe I'll decide on that later, but for now, I'm playing with a lot of shit.
