as you might can tell, last night i went to The Frogs show...i picked up Justin, we met Jacques and Amber at their place and headed over to the Map Room...David was there when we got there...Brad and Keith also showed up...first was The Oscars, they were good...then was some corporate wannabe band called VPN that had the fucking show advertised on radio and had some Tower Records merch table set up...promotion...yea...and for a show at the fucking Map Room and its small basement...they were fucking terrible...worse than expected...the drummer's set was really cool...all kinds of neat wacky stuff, but a cool drum set does not a tolerable band make...the place was fucking packed for the beginning of The Frogs' show...and they took a while to get out 'cuz they were putting their costumes on...Drummer Frog guy was wearing black face and a wig...Guitarist Frog guy was wearing this huge poofy costume w/ wings and a big Uncle Sam hat...and bearded bassist guy was wearing a nun costume...the first part of the set was fucking horrible...after a little while the crowded thinned out...(including Brad and Keith 'cuz Brad was hungry!) but about the time everyone had left it actually got really good...it went from barely tolerable crap to actually funny and enjoyable...at the end the guitarist took his costume off...everything above the waist and went shirtless...he climbed on top of the pa speakers...they also played parts of songs they had already played over several times...afterwards Jacques, Amber, Justin, and i went to the pancake shop...that is that...
