I got this cd in the mail yesterday: Andrew Raffo Dewar / John Hughes / Chad Popple: Reflejos IV-VII. Finally had the demo presentation that I'd been fretting about. It went okay. I didn't do a huge preparation for it, but I had printouts of the slides and made handwritten notes for each and reviewed those even though I didn't do an actual runthrough. I didn't feel so bad 'cuz the other guy doing it fumbled even more than I did (he had his notes on other slides that he couldn't access while presenting and so had to go off his head). I mean, I fumbled too but I didn't feel so bad. And got some feedback for some more notes. Now we'll go through what we've got sometime before the real presentation on Friday (ugh! but, I'm not feeling so bad about it now, right?). We finally got these chocolates in the mail Mary Beth had ordered after a whole to-do with Fedex not delivering it the first time and lying about it and having to get a replacement order rushed out. That was also a to-do but they did come just in time for Valentine's Day which was the point. I went out and made copies of flyers for future shows last night. Yeah, not much else!
