Last night I drew Mary Beth with fancy pencils and real drawing paper and all that. I'm awful at drawing but it didn't turn out AS bad as I had expected! Actually, the worst parts were from just the eraser we have not working well at all and smudging more than erasing. I mean, a little bit makes a nice texture/effect, but it couldn't not do more than a little bit. But it was fun as my first attempt at something like that. So there were all the pencils and I was using different weights or whatever but not really knowing what I was doing or what each was for but I screwed around and got something down. Oh, and also after I was done I thought her hair wasn't dark enough so I went back and darkened her hair more but then her face seemed too light in contrast, but I knew I wouldn't be able to go back over and darken it without just screwing everything up so I left it!
