Mary Beth and I did the walk thing again yesterday. I got things settled up for this one show I'm booking (it's part of a two-part thing and I've been having obnoxious fucking trouble with the other show, we'll see if it gets set up or not). At night I read Mary Beth the Angela Carter story "Puss-in-Boots" (as payback for when she first read to me "The Bloody Chamber"?). It was fun, it's a fun story to read aloud. There's not much to this following anecdote but I did want to jot down what I forgot to mention yesterday. While I was out driving the day before, I saw someone doing doughnuts in the middle of the Chelsea and Thomas intersection. Okay!

i like the idea of puss' friend-companion repeatedly chastising him for his matter-of-fact gutterthoughts/guttermouth. runs quite counter to my experience of cats as prudes, but then i never did live with an unneutered fella feline of the world.
