Yesterday after work Mary Beth and I continued our anniversary by having a picnic in the park. She prepped some picnic gear and we went over and ate it at a picnic table watching the swarms of people doing athletic things in the greensward. (Of course we commented on that, being surrounded by all these active, athletic people sporting it up while we just sat down pigging out.) But it was some lovely fall weather and it was nice and we even got to see some turtles in the pond. Then later at night I finished reading In the Heart of the Heart of the Country by William H. Gass and it was very good (unsurprisingly, I guess!) (and hey, you really can't beat that title either). Well, I guess that's about it!
