friday night was bowling w/ David, Aaron, and Paul...first we were going to Jillian's, but Paul is currently missing his driver's license so we couldn't get it...which is pretty ironic considering how much older he is than the rest of us...then we decided to go out to Bartlett to bowl...it was pretty fun even though i was sucking ass...afterwards we ended up watching Littly Nicky (yes, the Adam Sandler movie...) for the most part it was pretty atrocious...though surprisingly there were a few bits that were very funny...i went home...

then there was yesterday...i thought i was supposed to go in at 3, but i got there and saw i was scheduled for 4...so i spent an hour or so at Lastchance...i got Stereolab: The First of the Microbe Hunters...work was pretty fucking shitty...my first delivery was to this house that has this narrow driveway, but you have to go up it 'cuz they have these huge fences 'cuz they have tons of big dogs running around...and then they come meet you at the gate at the end of the driveway...as i was leaving, for some reason i have a tendency to only look out my left rear-view mirror when backing up...and this driveway being very narrow and maybe i was also being distracted a little by one of the cool dogs, i got too close on the right side...and now my right rear-view mirror is smashed and hanging off the side of my car...needless to say that put me in a very foul mood that evening...no one was home after work so i went to Turtle's...i ended up getting a cd that i don't like upon hearing it today...J Church: The Precession of Simulacra/The Map Preceeds the Territory...the title fucking rules and there's this comic on the back that rules...it's a Beetle Bailey and in the first frame it has Sarge in his bedtime garb saying "When the real world changes into simple images. . ." then the next frame he's walking into the bedroom and there's the dog in the bed watching tv and he continues "Simple images become real being and effective motivations of a hypmotic behaviour." i mean...how could i resist such cool titles/artwork!? too bad the music was terribly mediocre...although there's one song that kind've rules...but a keeper it is not...then i went over to Jacques and Amber's...we watched this dvd they had just gotten called Vampyros Lesbos...it was, as you can imagine, very terrible...at the beginning Jacques joked "is this by the guy who directed Venus in Furs" a terrible movie we saw a couple years ago...then looking in the liner notes we saw that yes, it's the same guy...that ws pretty funny...but yea, another painfully difficult movie to watch by that guy...

hrm...i'm gonna continue this in a different post now 'cuz it's getting long or something...
