Mary Beth and I went to the opera last night. It was a performance of Così Fan Tutte (so of course you know who that's making me think of). It was at the (one of the) churches right around the corner. The Memphis Symphony Orchestra was supposed to have been playing the music but people in the orchestra tested positive for covid this week and they had to cancel. So at the very last minute they found a woman at Vanderbilt who could come down and play it on piano. They were doing the setting at a university in the 50s. They were projecting these 50s social engineering films before it starting and during the intermission but against the back wall of the church's altar you couldn't make it out too well. But I enjoyed the idea of it! Musically, it was very Mozart (of course!) but it was fun. What else? I think that's about it. I'm about to do some work for a migration this morning (the one from Mother's Day that was postponed).
