I had to go to the post office yesterday to return that Maryanne Amacher cd. Sad to see it go, but I should be able to get another copy without too much trouble. In the afternoon Mary Beth and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. There was still some snow on the ground outside so we got to enjoy that (oh, and at one point we saw some birds doing it, lots of flapping). We picked up some Sweet Grass (Next Door, though it looks like now there's only Next Door and the original more upscale side is gone...though it's all going to be gone soon as they'll be closing due to rent increase) nachos. Well, I screwed up and it was all separated into different bags by component, I picked up one that I could tell had three containers that looked like nachos, but I didn't get the chips or sauce or cheese. I just picked up the toppings. Well, we get home and realize I didn't get the chips, but we had Las Delicias chips and figured we could just use those. Then we start eating and something feels like it's missing. We realize there's no sauce so I definitely had to go back to pick it all up. So back out of my pyjamas! So it was a little weird after I got back with everything, 'cuz we had some soggier chips already and were using the new chips too. Anyway, they were good tasting in spite of the delay and mix-up. We watched Uptight and that was good. Later at night Mary Beth finished reading to me Women Who Love Sex by Gina Ogden, PhD. I thought I woke up after eight hours of sleep but forgot daylight savings had happened and the clock went forward automatically so I'd actually just gotten seven hours, not that I could have gotten back to sleep anyway. There's still some snow on the ground outside so it's a nice thing to look out and see.

What a difference a few kilometers make, I am so ready for snow to die already.

We had 8 degrees last night! It's colder than it was in January... :\

Well, a few hundred kilometers! Earlier this winter we had the biggest snowfall (for here) I remember in my lifetime, and I know it was nothing compared to your usual. But, of course, that's why it's The South!
