I did it! I finished the Spanish language course in Duolingo yesterday! Now, and this is the most exciting part, I never have to listen to Junior's FUCKING VOICE ever again! I need to find some new ways to keep improving my Spanish, but now it's a nice wide open array of possibility. For the written word, that's pretty easy, but finding good sources of spoken Spanish (that's not just all way too fast to do much good) will be the harder part, but I'm sure there's some good stuff out there. In other news, Mary Beth and I went on a walk through the neighborhood. A few blocks over we ran into Scott from The Pop Ritual walking his dog to the park. He said hi and I was very awkward but it's cool to see someone and have someone you know as a neighbor.
