After work yesterday Mary Beth and I took a little walk. Later at night I finished reading Naked Masks by Luigi Pirandello (five plays, including the famous "Six Characters in Search of an Author"). It was good, especially the last two (the aforementioned and "Each in His Own Way" which are both part of the same loose trilogy, though this volume doesn't have the last play in that). At times it can be heavy-handed but generally quite good, and the metafictional aspects of the latter two plays were especially enjoyable. I woke up early today for this Saturday to take my mom to her dialysis appointment. I'll be back out there later to pick her up when she's done, but for now back home.
