Wedding

I worked more on that track yesterday. Adding more drum tracks. I think I have it all except maybe two. One of the samples I think I loaded twice and missed another one (unless they just sound that similar, but I think maybe I did miss it). Then another I accidentally erased before I started recording (still on the computer just erased it off the Morphagene). Anyway, that's getting closer. Still have a good ways to go with the album...but getting there, or somewhere. Then yesterday evening Mary Beth and I went to Ryan and Melissa's wedding. It was at the Metal Museum (I guess at some point they dropped the "Ornamental" from the name, probably a long time ago!). I mean, technically they got married two years ago (they were engaged and Ryan's brother was about to get shipped out for active duty so they got married quickly with a very small family setting and figured they'd have the big ceremony in just a few months in spring and then covid happened, so now they've finally gotten around to the shindig). It was outdoors but in a big tent. It was raining for a bit but the tent kept everything dry and at least there was a reprieve from the cold (it wasn't warm yesterday but mild). Wore my suit and had a system of button extenders that kept my pants up. It was mostly people we didn't know there. Pretty much except Jacques, who we mostly hung out around and talked to. There was Ben but he was more involved with the whole central entourage and we said hi once. We happened to sit at the table of this guy Will who I met at one of Chris's parties a few years ago. He still remembers and thinks fondly of Mary Beth's cookies (as who wouldn't!?). At night after coming back home, Mary Beth finished reading Michael Kohlhaas by Heinrich von Kleist and it was good.
