Mary Beth and I did our Fresh Market run during my lunch break yesterday. After work we took a walk around the neighborhood. I've been meaning to mention what a fall it is this year as far as tree colors go! I feel there's such a richer variety in color than there usually is here in Memphis. And not just between different trees (though that definitely feels more prominent) but the gradations of different colors within the same tree feels pretty unique. Anyway, the fall scenery feels so much more striking than it has in the past (I mean, still wouldn't compare to the great wide north, but like I said, very exciting for Memphis). I was getting a little tired from typing the special characters in Duolingo. I mean, I have all the alt key combos I need for Spanish memorized and have used them and that's pretty good, but it feels like such a drag in time moving my hand over to the number pad every time. So I went and figured out how to make hotkeys (it involved writing a script so was fun learning that!) for those characters (á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ, ¡, ¿...though really punctuation isn't required so I never do it, but would be good to have should I write other things en español). Now I just need to push alt and the key in question and it's so nice and fast and my hands feel better. Later at night Mary Beth and I watched some Golden Girls.

wonder what one would do assigning keys for french given they have multiple accent directions for the same letters at times.

Pretty unmistakable sound! And if I were doing it and needed both accents, I'd probably throw in a shift key for the reverse direction!

also i dunno, tempted to say when the trees are beautiful here in fall they might even be more colorful, and dense about it too (?). my memories anyway.
