i've been doing the whole computer thing w/out a mouse since last night...it's been a piece of shit for the longest time...but the horizontal axis stopped working (which has happened before...then later it'll start again...but i'm just sick of dealing w/ it anyway and it's in pieces on the floor now...and i don't think it's worth the effort to snap back together...) not using a mouse is pretty fun though...i usually tend to rely on the keyboard anyhoo...(wow...and to think in a few days i might not be able to consider that my "profession"...) the guy i bought The Pop Group cd from said its in the mail now...very cool...i was getting mildly worried 'cuz he's in England and i had to send cash...but it arrived...i'm gonna try to clean my room now...rock on, world...

I want one of those mouses (I know, I know, improper pluralization) that doesn't have a ball-thingy on the bottom...The kind that uses light to operate instead, and can be rolled with ease on any surface...

Infra-red mice!

Those are pretty ace.
I want a trackball. I have this stupid touchpad on here and I end up elevating my hands over the keyboard to avoid hitting it when I type. Otherwise, it will insert the cursor right in the middle of my text and screw everything up. I could disable the tap feature but it wouldn't feel as space-age. Like saying "infra-red mice".
Merry Christmas, Jenna!

the worst is trying to walk our primate customers through doing fucking ANYTHING when their mice shite out (and they *never* have backup mice). ummm...that's all for today's installation of "inept technician angst theatre". i hope everyone is well...
