Jam Session

I had a huge post office run yesterday. Had ten packages to send out! So I got all the shirts and everything packed and labeled and ready and then took 'em up to the post office in a big (or kinda big) box. Later in the evening I had a noisemaking playdate with Paul. Well, I've just been letting my damn modular sit for over a year with the case open and gathering all kinds of dust like a terrible person so I figured before I took it out to play I should clean it some first. Remind me never to be such a bad gear parent again. Went over and met him at Katie's office space and we jammed out for a while. Mostly making weird noise but at times got kind of a bouncy hoedown thing going on and I was dancing around for a lot of it. It was fun to do some stuff! Now I haven't set my stuff back up and this room feels weird without the table taking up much of it. Later in the evening towards twilight Mary Beth and I went on a walk. It was even almost pretty much cool by then. At night we watched Flight of the Conchords. That's about it for now.

OH god, it hurts so much. Yeah I'm starting to now get cases and things. Once I get my studio setup I'm going to get a big tapestry to lay over the gear. Deck savers are cool, but expensive, IMO. I'm also getting lots of cases.

Yeah, it's so dumb 'cuz all my eurorack is in traveling cases with built-in lids that I don't even have to fasten, I could just set them on top and boom, instant dust protection. But I just wasn't! My regular synths all have dust covers and they've been sitting there covered up at least.
