(Kr)Ogre | Grocery Store (...more a Kelly reference than serious "critique")

So most of yesterday passed in a sleep-deprived stupor. Then came our grocery haul which was a bit on the ridiculous side. We clicklisted from Kroger and you could tell they were backed up. There was one person bringing out the groceries (when normally there'd be two when it was busy). They only had so many spots and they were all filled up and all these cars kept blocking the lane to wait for a spot. We eventually got in, and we ended up being the last car to get our order. All in all we were there an hour and a quarter. I mean, it wasn't an unpleasant experience as we just got to hang out listening to music and talking. Anyway, then we got home and after putting away the groceries Mary Beth found we were missing a bunch of stuff (pretty much mostly a bunch of dairy) so we figured they missed a part of the order that was refrigerated in all their hectic scramble. So I went back up there and tracked a manager down and he understood the situation right away and went back and found the stuff where it was waiting. So it resolved relatively smoothly but it just meant a night of a whole lot of groceries. Anyway, got some rest last night and feel better today.
