I swung by Chris's porch yesterday to drop off some of those special MC posters from 2018 so he could give them to Natalie (since she did one of the designs and all). Had to search for them and found them at the bottom of a box underneath a whole bunch of t-shirts. Natalie's were separate and of a thicker stock than mine and Linda's and hers were okay, but mine and Linda's got a little bent up on the corners. Not creased at least. I put some books on the corners to hopefully straighten 'em out. Will do that again, maybe with a bit of time they can at least get mostly respectable. Anyway, thanks to Daisy Chris was easily made aware of my presence and came out and we had a little chat on his porch. So that rare covid event of talking to someone in person! It was nice. I heard some exciting news about that United Equipment building near Lamar and Airways (I won't say anything yet as I don't think it's been announced yet but maybe soon and it's exciting, I have so many memories of just driving by that building as a kid and wondering what the hell it was and probably imagining dumb things). I tried making some music on my modular last night, had a certain idea but my midi to cv module doesn't seem to be working right. I'll have to inspect it more closely. At the time, I just recorded a couple minute of screwing around which is always fun. It's to gather material for a longer project, and while there are certain specific things I want to do, I also plan on recording more random weird shit anyways so it's still something of progress. I woke up early this morning and wasn't able to fall back asleep. Don't feel tired yet, but got a slightly early start this morning after I gave up after a little while.
