ateolfYesterday was the virtual family Christmas thing. First we face timed with Mary Beth's parents. Then we had a zoom thing with my parents/sister/nephews. The zoom was kinda wonky as they were spread out across their entire living room and the stream would always freeze up for a second every twenty-four or so seconds. But the general Christmas thing went on. Later in the evening Mary Beth and I watched The Hours (for more good timing with the just having finished reading Mrs. Dalloway and all). We wrapped up the night with a little bit of The Simpsons. It was a pretty low key Christmas Day. My Uncle Tom died on Christmas Eve so that's been a bummer.
