Yesterday Mary Beth and I did our big grocery haul after work. Not a whole lot to say about that other than being hit by the rain bringing them in from the car. I'd recently got asked to do a written interview about Memphis Concrète. Funny timing as I've been so out of it all lately in regards to that. But I sat to work to try to answer all the questions in a semi-decent fashion last night. I didn't finish but I think I'm most-way through. It's sort of like homework at this point and I've always been bad with homework and procrastination. So it was kinda like that whole thing again. But I did get down to it. I'll try to finish it up early-ish today as it's the day they were asked for. Sheesh! Now to do work and stuff.

So... if you don’t mind me asking: how are you feeling about Memphis Concrète?

Personally, I miss it and miss being a part of it. Unfortunately I don’t see a time in the near future where I’d have time to really put my time into something like that and it’s just infuriating to me.

So yeah. After all the problems with that second live-stream show months back, I kinda just decided to stop as I couldn't really find any adequate solutions. And then it all kinda felt extraneous anyway. Last week I saw a show on twitch and I revisited some of the features on twitch (I'd looked at it before back then, but didn't find it satisfying at the time. Well...there's some either new or new-to-me features that makes me think it might be worth revisiting and trying out another concert in the near future. I'll need to test stuff out though and see how it works. But I was kinda thinking about that anyway. I think if covid still reigns next year and I'm able to get it all to work, that though skipping this year felt right, I think a live-stream festival next year would be worth trying out. That's my thought now. Even if it's a low-key and small affair. But we'll see. I see how it feels after a few baby steps in that direction.
