Mary Beth and I did some more gaming yesterday. We played Lost Cities and Splendor. I had like my highest score ever in Lost Cities and my just absolutely luckiest starting hand. Later at night we watched this movie called The Three Lives of Thomasina which is some 60s live-action animal-centered Disney movie with Patrick McGoohan. The Scottish accents were fun as was the cat content. It had an extremely Disneyfied version of nature and the anti-Romani racism towards the end (and all the other ridiculousness surrounding that) was pretty cringeworthy. But other than that we got to see Patrick McGoohan be very Patrick McGoohan and cats. It's also a bit morbid for a kid's movie, I mean, that gets dissipated some but for a bit there near the beginning it's a wee bit harsh. We also looked a bit at Mars out it in the sky last night. I forgot to mention how we first started watching Mars the weekend before when it was in conjunction with the Moon. Anyway, it's pretty cool looking as bright red as it is and all. Oh and Trudy was very playful last night. She had been hiding for a long time and resting and not out at all but when she came out she was very playful and it was very cute.
