I got another cd(s) from bandcamp excursioning last week: Éliane Radigue: Ψ 847. I reached another milestone in Duolingo...a streak of 69 days (YEEEEAH! now only 351 days to go until my next milestone...YEEEEAH! and then only 246 days from there until I reach the last number...YEEEEAH! now that's some total badd mathth). Mary Beth and I went on a little walk yesterday, just around the neighborhood for a little bit. And last night we finished up watching I, Claudius. There you go.

I've loved the Radigue stuff I've heard on youtube, such great deep analog/modular shit. Grats on Duolingo - what language? I probably asked previously...

Yeah, her stuff is so dang good! I'm doing Spanish on Duolingo. So like two decades ago I minored in Spanish and was able to speak it, not fluently but pretty well, and then I promptly lost it (it's a dumb, boring story but I finished my minor before my majors and I was dumb and all saying to myself if I'm going to study anything it should be what I'm currently doing in school, then would barely study that anyway, and then by the time I had graduated the Spanish was gone...I still retained a lot of pieces, but I definitely wasn't able to speak and understand it like I was). For years and years I've wanted to get back to it and I'd tried a couple things over the years but nothing that I stuck with. This has been the most successful and I actually feel like I'm on the path to getting some of it back.
